A Clay Day occurs every Saturday for up to 12 people
and can be booked as a morning, afternoon or full day option.
It is the best kind of gift for yourself or a loved one: an inspiring, fun and wholesome experience that leaves you with lasting memories and functional ceramic keepsakes.

An afternoon of pottery making, followed by a gong bath, all led by ceramicist and sound healer Claire Wan.

You are welcome to arrive a bit earlier to settle in, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and meet your Clay Day friends.

10.00am
A 1hr yoga session to wake up body and mind. Led by a qualified yoga instructor and carefully designed to prepare you for creative flow.
11.00am
A 20 min guided meditation led by Barnaby to help relax the mind so that we are more open to creative ideas. As Barnaby describes "relieving the tension from the attention".
11.30am
After tea break you will be introduced to Handbuilding techniques by Barnaby, through making various suggested projects or realising ideas of your own
1.15pm
Especially prepared for Clay Day participants by Almaz at Kaffa Vegan Ethiopian restaurant; just two doors from Dalston Clay. Exceptionally delicious, heart warming and healthy Ethiopian food.
(Please note that lunch is £12 extra to be paid to Almaz in cash or contactless after the meal). You are also welcome to eat elsewhere in Dalston or bring your own lunch and eat in the studio or just continue working through lunch break.

A second session for you to continue your ceramics project or start a new one.
5.00pm
A guided lying down meditation led by Barnaby. Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) is a state of deep rest that is distinct from actual sleep. It is a type of restorative rest that allows the body to recuperate and rejuvenate without necessarily entering the sleep state. As we use up a lot of energy in the creative process, NSDR beautifully completes the Flow Cycle
