New Intermediate to advanced sessions added!

New to wheel throwing, or want to improve?

Our taster sessions are half hand building and half wheel throwing, but if you would like to focus purely on wheel throwing, then these sessions are for you.  For beginners, you will be guided through the basics of wedging the clay, centering the clay and throwing bowls and cylinders.  For intermediates and advanced you can use the session to improve your skills with the guidance of an experienced teacher.

As a beginner, after three sessions you should be ceramically fit enough to book our cheaper but unguided

Drop-In sessions, becoming part of our thriving Drop-In Community, allowing access to the studio every day

from 9am to 9pm.

Pieces can be fired and glazed for an extra fee (£5-£15 depending on size) and will be ready for pickup in 1 month

As a CIC and Social Enterprise, it is our intention is to make Dalston Clay a studio that is available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance. While we need to function as a business, we never want money to be the reason why someone can't benefit from what we've built. If you truly can't afford the full cost of our offerings, we invite you to contact us to discuss your situation and we will endeavour to sort something out.
