At Dalston Clay, affordability and community are important to us.
We created Work Exchange to help us keep our prices affordable, help less financially able people to benefit from the studio and to give people a sense of belonging through being of service. How it works is very simple: assist us at the studio for three 3hr sessions in return for a coupon code for a three-pack of 3hr Drop-In sessions to use at any time you wish. No prior ceramics experience is necessary; just a willingness to take part.
During your session you will be guided by Barnaby, founder of Dalston Clay, in various studio jobs such as glazing, firing, tidying, cleaning, assisting sessions and if you’re good at the computer then great!
